Project Description and Aim

To determine the incidence of childhood Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in Scotland

Case Definition of Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Patients with a positive diagnosis (clinical, laboratory markers, radiology, endoscopy, biopsies) of IBD (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, indeterminate colitis).
